Cloudland Books Backend
An internal tool operated by Cloudland Capital. Not a commercial product.
This application reads accounting data from the QuickBooks Online companies that
Cloudland Capital owns and manages, and puts it on Cloudland's own server so the team can
prepare fund reporting and monthly closes without exporting spreadsheets by hand.
It is used by one organization — Cloudland Capital — on its own books. There is no
sign-up, no customer accounts, and it is not offered to the public.
What it does
- Pulls profit & loss, balance sheet, general ledger, trial balance, transaction
lists and the chart of accounts.
- Writes them to CSV or Excel files on Cloudland's own server.
- Covers the two QuickBooks companies Cloudland operates: Cloudland Fund and VHH PropCo.
What it does not do
- It never writes to QuickBooks. It cannot create, edit or delete
invoices, bills, transactions or any other record. Access is read-only.
- It does not connect to any QuickBooks company outside Cloudland's own two.
- It does not send data to third parties, resell data, or serve advertising.
- It does not process payments and never handles card or bank credentials.
Access
The connection is authorised by Cloudland's own QuickBooks administrator through Intuit's
standard OAuth screen, using the Accounting scope only
(com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting). It can be revoked at any time from
QuickBooks → Settings → Apps, which immediately ends the tool's access.
